Water Tank Project

As of July 15, 2025: The concrete has been poured, shed installed, and Lightning Electrical will come out soon. The Water Tank has been installed. The fence will be installed soon and that will wrap up the Water Tank Project. (Picture taken 7-15-2025)

The Village of Volente and the Volente Fire Department, Travis County Emergency Services District No. 14, have partnered together for the "Volente Water Tank Project." This project has been in the works since an unfortunate house fire in 2022. The house was a total loss and sparked the idea and discussion of a much-needed water tank for the Village of Volente. A lot of planning and discussion has gone into this specific project. The Village of Volente hopes to complete this project very soon for the overall benefit of the residents of Volente, Texas.
