Comprehensive Plan:
The 2024 Comprehensive Plan Draft can be viewed here: 2024 Volente COMPREHENSIVE PLAN.pdf. The Comprehensive Plan Survey contributed to a lot of the 2024 Comprehensive Plan's development. The Steering Committee worked tirelessly over the past 18 months in constructing the survey with the assistance of ETC Institute. The results are available by clicking below:

Saturday Wellness sessions held at the Fire Hall Patio the first Saturday of every month 9:30 am to 10:30 am:
Event will be held outdoors on the patio/lawn. Yoga, wellness tips, breathing exercises Participants need to bring their own mat and water for hydration. Children must be accompanied by adult guardian. No children under age 8 please. Donations will be for the benefit of Volente Fire Department Auxiliary. Suggested amount is $10 per person. Firefighters attend for free.
Short-term Rental Conditional Use Permit
Please be advised that Short Term Rentals are not a permitted use of property in the Village of Volente. To qualify for an STR, you must first obtain a Conditional Use Permit, which includes a P&Z public hearing, as well as a Council Meeting public hearing. Neighbors within 500 feet of your property are required to be notified in advance. Please understand that by following the process and submitting the appropriate application fees does not guarantee approval of operating an STR. If a Conditional Use Permit is approved, you will receive a Short Term Rental License, which will need to be renewed annually.
