Application for Place on Ballot Application Packet
Elections are held on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November of every year.
The Village Council is made up of six members (mayor and five councilmembers).
The regular term of office for the positions of mayor and members of the village council are staggered two-year terms. All Councilmembers are elected “at large”.
General Election – November 3, 2026
The next regularly scheduled General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, for the purpose of electing one (1) Mayor and two (2) Council Members.

- Saturday, July 18, 2026 – August 17, 2026, by 5:00 pm
- First Day to Apply for Ballot by Mail
- Thursday, January 1, 2026
- First Day of Early Voting in Person

- Last Day to Apply for Ballot by Mail (Received, not Postmarked)
- Friday, October 23, 2026
- Last Day of Early Voting in Person
- Friday, October 30, 2026
- Election Day Tuesday
- November 3, 2026
Qualifications for Office- Type B City
- Residence - 1 year in state prior to filing deadline; 6 months in city (or ward) prior to the filing deadline.
- Age - 18
- Must be a registered voter in territory elected from by the filing deadline, August 17, 2026.
